  •  Mysore Palace is a Historical Palace. It is the Official residence of Wadiyar dynasty.
  • Palace is in the center of Mysore and faces the Chamundi Hills eastwards.Can find the location in map using the link https://goo.gl/maps/c8Y8A4sAhiUDjSav5 .
  • The Palace was completed in 1912 and construction cost was estimated around Rs 41,47,913.
  • The architectural style of domes described as Indo-Saracenic.

  • The Core of this Golden Howdah is a wooden structure in the form of a mantapa which is covered with 80 Kgs of gold sheets.
  • TIMINGS : 10 am - 5:30 pm
  • ENTRY FEES : 
        • Adults INR 70
        • Students INR 10
        • Children INR 30
  • TIME REQUIRED : 2-3 Hours
  • BEST TIME TO VISIT : During Mysore Dasara Festival(September-October), Jumboo Savari is one of the major attractions during this time.

Ways To Reach Mysore

  • By Air : The nearest Airport to Mysore is Bangalore International Airport which is 120 kms away. Can take Bus, Taxi or Train from Bangalore.
  • By Bus : Can take Bus from Majestic Bangalore to Mysore. It will take approximately 3 hours.
  • By Train : Can find number of express trains from Bangalore to Mysore. It will take approximately 3 hours.
  • By Road : If you want to drive, can take Mysore road SH-17 till Mysore via Kengeri, Ramnagaram and Mandya.
