Foodies!😋, here is a non-veg recipe for you all. Biryani lovers, Want to prepare a special dum chicken biryani, here is a delicious Chicken Dum Biryani in home. Give it a try with simple ingredients.


INGREDIENTS

  1. Chicken                         - 1/2 Kg
  2. Basmathi Rice               - 1 Kg
  3. Curd                              - 1 cup
  4. Jeera                              - 2 Teaspoon
  5. Coriander Powder         - 2 Teaspoon 
  6. Chilli Powder                - 2 Teaspoon
  7. Green Chillies               - 6
  8. Oil                                 - 6 Teaspoon
  9. Garam Masala               - 1 Teaspoon
  10. Curry Leaves                 - 5
  11. Turmeric Powder          - 1 Teaspoon
  12. Bay leaf                         - 2
  13. Cinnamon                      - 2
  14. Cloves                           - 3
  15. Elaichi                           - 3
  16. Whole Pepper                - 6
  17. Onion                            - 2
  18. Mint Leaves                  - 10
  19. Suhana Biryani Mix      - 4 Teaspoon
  20. Ginger Garlic Paste       - 2 Teaspoon
  21. Liquid Saffron                            
  22. Salt
  23. Coriander leaves

PROCEDURE

Watch below video for quick steps

  • Soak 2 cups of Basmati rice for 10 minutes and boil it upto 80% cooked.
  • Deep fry chopped onions untill golden brown.
  • Add curd to chicken.Add biryani mix, fried onions, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt, green chillies, bay leaf, cloves, elaichi, cinnamon, whole pepper, mint leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste. Mix well and keep it for marination for an hour.
  • Heat a pan, add oil to it. Add jeera and marinated chicken to it. Cook this for 30 minutes untill chicken is cooked for 80%.
  • Now keep layers of chicken and rice one over other.
  • Cover the lid of pan tightly by the help of clothes or dough and keep the pan on a tawa with low flame for 15 minutes.
