Foodies!😋, here is a biryani recipe for you all. Want to try a healthy recipe, here is a delicious veg biryani in home. Give it a try with simple ingredients.




INGREDIENTS

  1. Onion                         - 2
  2. Tomato                       - 5
  3. Potato                         - 2
  4. Carrot                         - 4
  5. Capsicum                   - 2
  6. Pudina(mint) leaves   - 100 gm
  7. Methi leaves               - 250 gm 
  8. Peeled Garlic             - 30
  9. Garlic                         - 1 piece
  10. Brown chana              - 1 cup(overnight soaked)
  11. Green peas                 - 1 cup(overnight soaked)
  12. Oil                              - 5 table spoon
  13. Ghee                           - 5 tea spoon
  14. Cloves                        - 3
  15. Elaichi                        - 2
  16. Bay leaf                      - 2
  17. Star anise                    - 2
  18. Fennel seeds               - 1 tea spoon
  19. Chilli Powder             - 2 tea spoon
  20. Aachi biryani masala - 2 tea spoon
  21. Basmati rice               - 1/2 kg
  22. Salt

PROCEDURE

  • Soak 1 cup of green peas and brown chana for overnight. drain water and keep it in a dark place to start sprouting.
  • Take a cooker, add 5 table spoons of oil, 5 tea spoons of ghee, elaichi, cloves, bay leaf, fennel seeds and star anise. Stir it well for 2 minutes.
  • Add grated ginger and garlic. Stir it well for 5 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion and stir it well until golden brown. 
  • Add chopped methi and pudina leaves and stir it well for 5 minutes.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes, salt, chilli powder and biryani masala powder. Fry it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add chopped vegetables(capsicum, potato, carrot) and sprouted green pea and black chana. Add a cup of water and boil it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add 
  • Now add the grinded paste(coriander, pudina, onion, chillies) and salt to it. fry it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add a cup of water, green peas and chopped potato to it. Cover the lid and boil it for 10 minutes.
  • Now add half an hour soaked basmati rice and stir it well for 5 minutes. After that close the cooker lid and make 1 whistle.
